Korean websites celebrate Chuseok with cute logo doodles

Little late with this, but as usual, during Chuseok time some Korean websites featured special holiday doodles of their logos. I always like collecting them and posting them to give them a bit of a wider audience. Let's take a look at some that I found posted around the Korean internet.

Of course there could be some that I've missed. If you know of any other sites that change their logos for special holidays, please let me know.

Naver logo doodles for Chuseok 2022

Naver always posts a special collection of logo doodles for the full 3 days of the holiday. These were drawn up by artists 토티, 뚠뚠, and 손유비 (links go to artists' Instagram pages). You can read more about their work on these doodles here:

These logos feature the traditional motif of the rabbits making rice cakes, along with a persimmon tree, and some kids dressed in hanbok.

Other website logo doodles for Chuseok

Here are a few others from around the web. Interestingly, many of these logos incorporate the traditional Korean name Hangawi (한가위) rather than the hanja-originating name Chuseok (추석)

Twitter's hashflag for Chuseok, a special image that appears in tweets when using Chuseok-related hashtags. The silhouette of the traditional bunny in the moon

Unrelated, but because I'm not a huge K-pop stan, I hadn't realized that Twitter puts out these custom hashflags pretty often for K-pop related events (see here, here, here)
