Quick tip: KT's navigation app OneNavi (원내비) has no mobile data fees for KT subscribers. So if you're a frequent driver and have a low data plan (yes, people like that do still exist), this might be an interesting option for you.

Anybody can use the app; you don't have to be a KT subscriber. But if you are, they'll automatically waive data usage in the app if you're on KT:
데이터요금 안내
KT 고객은 내비게이션 이용 시 발생하는 데이터 통화료가 무료로 제공됩니다. 단, 외부로 연동되는 서비스는(웹브라우저 연동 등) 데이터 요금이 부과됩니다.
No idea if this applies to KT MVNOs like KT-M or Skylife.
I gave this app a try last week, and while it functions fine, I don't really see anything special that would make me want to change from Naver Map or T Map. While place locations and guidance seemed fine in my limited test, I did notice that the background map imagery tiles seemed pretty outdated. Places that I know are now new buildings still visually appear as empty fields even if the name was found via search.
It does integrate with KT's smart home assistant Giga Genie, if you're in that ecosystem.
T-Map, made by SK and now probably the most popular navi app in Korea, used to waive data charges for SK subscribers too, but scrapped it a few years back.
Though in their blog post, T-Map mentions this interesting tidbit of information: most drivers use 48MB worth of mobile data per month in navigation apps. Even taxi drivers, persumably using their navi apps all day long, use just 85MB.
Makes sense if you're just getting basically marked up XML back in search results. I assume loading photos from reviews and etc. would bump that up but for the map tiles, they mostly stay in cache anyway.
Just another option out there. Be aware it has no English or other language support. Happy naviinig.
