Naver has released a note taking, bookmarking, memo type service called Naver Keep (네이버 Keep).
If the name seems familiar it's because it is very similar to that other note-taking app, Google Keep. Like that Keep, it gives you an online clipboard type space to share to, to save notes, screenshots, bookmarks, etc. Here is another promo image to give you an idea of what kind of things you can "keep" there. It's pretty simple to add files: just tap the "green dot" (not to be confused with Naver's Green Dot) and upload.
However there are some big differences between Naver Keep and something like Google Keep. The main thing is that this is a service, not an app. There is no standalone Naver Keep app (at least not yet). Right now it is built into the Naver app, so to use this, you either need the Naver app installed, or you can access it via desktop PC.

UPDATE
Naver Keep has also been built-into Naver's messenger app Line, as detailed in this post:
[Android Update] Keep, your personal storage for LINE, is now easier to use! : LINE official blog
I don't use Line so I'm not sure how integrated a Line account and a Naver account are. It's possible that Naver Keep and Line Keep might be two different spaces but I don't know. The requirements for moving data between your Line accounts seems to imply that they're different. but don't take my word for it.

Here's how it looked for me on my desktop this afternoon. Obviously I haven't added much to it yet, only 2 items: a link to my website, and a screenshot image.
The interesting thing is that Naver Keep is actually just an upgrade to the old Naver Bookmarks service (http://bookmark.naver.com), which itself is still active though uses the old 1990s style of Naver UI. This means that any bookmarks you had already saved in Naver Bookmark will automatically populate your Naver Keep and vice versa.
Right now it's not exactly a full Google Keep replacement. Here are some things to note:
To add items to your Naver Keep, you can:
I will assume that the old "Belly" feature (recently renamed to "Scrapbook") from Naver Whale browser will be incorporated with this at some point since they now majorly overlap in features and use. Already you can connect your Naver Bookmarks to Belly so that anything added to Bookmarks will appear in Belly/Scrapbook. I just tried it, and a link added to my Naver Keep automatically appeared in my Naver Whale Scrapbook (because I have Bookmarks<>Scrapbook connected), but weirdly not an image that I uploaded to Keep. It seems likely to me that these functions will be combined eventually.
Anyway, give it a try for yourself either in the Naver app or at https://keep.naver.com

My (very small) notes archive on Naver Keep |
The interesting thing is that Naver Keep is actually just an upgrade to the old Naver Bookmarks service (http://bookmark.naver.com), which itself is still active though uses the old 1990s style of Naver UI. This means that any bookmarks you had already saved in Naver Bookmark will automatically populate your Naver Keep and vice versa.
Right now it's not exactly a full Google Keep replacement. Here are some things to note:
- Alarms and sharing are not available yet, but Naver says that type of functionality is coming.
- You'll also be able to access and use your Naver Keep via voice commands.
- Unlike Google's version (and more like Apple's Notes), you can add documents to notes.
- Screenshots can be saved with the originating URL automatically for easy retrieval later.
- Items can be sorted by type or by custom tags/labels you create and add to items.
- Overall storage is limited to 2GB, and individual files bigger than 10MB can only be kept up to 30 days.
To add items to your Naver Keep, you can:
- Access it via the Naver app (you can set it as one of the homescreen shortcuts for faster access) and then upload photos/files/links to it
- Add links directly to Keep in 1-click if you are browsing the web via the Naver app built-in browser
- "Share" photos/files/links to the Naver app via your iOS/Android share menu
- Visit https://keep.naver.com/ where you can upload files (but not add notes or URLs yet?)
