The 2022 Seollal holiday is done now but as usual I gathered up all the cute celebratory doodles the major Korean portals put out during that time. Naver stores these in a public archive but as far as I know the others do not so I like keeping a record of them. They are cute and fun and a nice slice of Korean culture on the internet. So take a look an enjoy.
Naver
This year's series of Naver doodles were drawn by artist Haleigh Mun (헤일리 문)

And more from Naver:
I like the little touches of changing the search bar "N" into cute traditional shapes, like the stacked "Yut" sticks.
Naver also featured their usual greeting card maker which lets you quickly whip up a small greeting to send or post. It's for various holidays. The Lunar New Year one had 5 designs and preselected text greetings or add your own. Here's one I whipped up:
Daum
Daum's delicious and happy colorful deokguk (rice cake soup) look too nice to eat.
Nate
Nate went really old school with a set of bokjori (복조리), a kind of woven sieve or filter used in old times to remove stones or husks from rice, but also symbolic of scooping up good fortune. I like to think of these as a Korean equivalent to stockings hung by the chimney at Christmas.
