Tis the season for students to find out their university admissions results in Korea. In Korea, the new academic year starts in March, so for the past couple of weeks, students have begun getting results about their college acceptances.
To celebrate, KakaoTalk will expose a special animated emoji sticker in the chatroom window when you mention the word "acceptance" such as in "Congratulations on your college acceptance!"
For example, send this phrase to a friend:
- 입학 축하해!
And it will trigger this animated emoji. Sorry it's not animated here in this post:

As far as I can tell, it only works with variations of 입학 ("acceptance") and doesn't seem to work in English.
Just something cute to help your friends feel good. This will be active until March 5th.
