Just a quick post to archive some logo doodles from some Korean websites, this time celebrating the March 1st Independence Movement. This day, known as "3/1 Day" (삼일절) commemorates a major uprising in 1919 against Japanese colonial rule over Korea.

Those last two seem to feature Yu Gwan-sun.
There seems to be much fewer Taegukgis hanging off of windows this year than when I first got here. Patriotism seems to be weaning pretty much everywhere. I hope most Koreans will continue to remember just how far they've come and are still strongly heading. 대한민국만세!
