Naver Blog gets updated post mapping feature

Naver Blog will let you display all of your blog posts on an interactive map, letting you revisit the locations where you geotagged your posts.

Actually this feature was available in the past, but with the great Naver Map update to V5, this feature too has gotten some love.

As you can see in the quick promotional screenshots above, all your geotagged posts can be reviewed on the map itself. Naver Map for domestic posts, Google Maps for foreign tagged posts.

This is such a neat way to retrace your steps and browse through your own personal history. I always wanted something like this for my personal blogs, but of course Google made it essentially impossible for free use. Thanks, Goog.

You may recall that if you geotagged your public blog posts for making reviews of places and events, they might become featured on Naver Maps' informational listings too. It's so nice to see the blogosphere still thriving in Korea. And nice too that Naver Blog and Tistory still support RSS following.

The screenshot at the bottom shows the checkbox for enabling the map in your Naver Blog, should you want to display it.
