- 미세먼지 - Fine dust. Apparently this was ranked #12 last year. Shows how nasty it was this year.
- 신과 함께 - Along with the Gods. Extremely popular movie based on a webtoon. Interesting premise where a guy dies and gets assigned an afterlife lawyer to argue his case. Featured adorable Kim Hyang-gi who I still remember from Queen's Classroom. Feels weird seeing her grown up. I'm getting old.
- 하트시그널 시즌2 - Heart Signal season 2. No idea what this is. Looks like Korean version of Celebrity Big Brother.
- 블랙 팬서 - Black Panther (movie)

- 나 혼자 산다 - I Live Alone. Reality TV show.
- 조민기 - Jo/Cho Min-ki. Actor who committed suicide from fallout of #metoo. Left behind a star-wannabe daughter too. Also see here and here.
- 외모지상주의 - Lookism. Very popular webtoon that makes this list all the time.
- 평창 동계올림픽 - PyeongChang Olympics. Man I totally forgot that even happened.
- 토르: 라그나로크 - Thor Ragnarok
- 윤식당2 - Yoon's Kitchen season 2. Reality celeb cooking show where they open up a K food place.
- 곤지암 - Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. Korean horror movie set in, you guessed it, a haunted asylum. My opinion? 0% scary. Or teens these days confuse "weird" with "scary." Pretty sure it's a real place you could (not supposed to) visit for urban exploring.
- 안희정 - Ahn Heejung. Politician and governor caught in the #metoo snare. Interesting case for the highlight of gender issues.
- 나의 아저씨 - My Mister. Drama with IU
- 일곱 개의 대죄 - Seven Deadly Sins. Some kind of Japanese comic I guess.
- 가상화폐 - Virtual/Cryptocurrencies
- 어벤져스: 인피니티 워 - Avengers Infinity War
- 카카오 배틀그라운드 - Kakao Battleground. Super popular game. I hadn't realized it was Kakao that's publishing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds here.
- 야생의 땅: 듀랑고 - Durango: Wild Lands. Game by Nexon.
- 천애명월도 - Moonlight Blade. Game by Nexon.
